The decision was made to buy a funky little orange Kombi van and deck it out to brew coffee.  Our goal was to have as much fun with the project as possible.  For us this meant roasting our own beans, pulling shots on an old school lever machine, involving the kids, surfing after work and having massive chats with awesome customers.

The hero of any roasting space is obviously the roaster and ours is pretty special.  Hand made in Italy by Trabattoni.  Our wood fired machine is big, bold, curvy and beautiful.  We have named her Roma.
